Temidire ordained six new Elders and seven Deaconesses
As part of the 8 years district anniversary celebration of Christ Apostolic Church Oke-idera,Temidire, six Elders and 7 Deaconesses were ordained.
The ordination and thanksgiving started around 11 a.m with opening prayer by pastor Olanrewaju and opening hymn by Elder Bamigboye with bible reading, led by Elder Akande.
The newly ordained Elders and Deaconesses were presented to the Zonal superintendent, Pastor Femi E. Adelabu, by minister in-charge, Pastor Claudius Olanrewaju. The ordination took over an hour before the anniversary thanksgiving commences.
The ordination which was presided by Christ Apostolic Church Ogijo Zonal superintendent in person of Pastor Femi Emmanuel Adelabu who explain that the new ordained Elders and Deaconesses are expected to help and support the pastor in-charge, Pastor Claudius Olanrewaju and every department in it's quest to move the work of God to greater heights of glory.
Pastor Adelabu added that newly ordained Elders and Deaconesses should tender any complain to their church pastors or church patron. Henceforth, not to any members of the church and advice them to keep up to what makes their pastors nominate them for this post.
In addition to his speech, the certificate given is generally acceptable in any CAC church Nigeria and Overseas.
He spoke about the consequence of going against the oat of office taken.
Towards the end of the program, he prayed for them to receive divine grace and wisdom to perform well in their new office.
