Sign of His Coming

Sign of his coming mean the feeling, emotion, symptom, signal, effect or happening about the appearance of somebody but the sign of his coming that we are talking about here is the sign of the second coming of our lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is coming back as he promised (John14:19).

Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God who offers himself as scarify for the world according to the will of the father. He dies for the remission of our sins in other to bridge the gap between God and man. In genesis chapter3, man has sin against God and God curse the man. Since then the relationship between man and God has been mutilated. For this reason God sent his only Son to redeem us from the curse (Galatian3:13)

Christ dead open the door of salvation to all the people in the world in as much they confess him with their mouth, believe in their heart as the only begotten Son God who die for their sins and also accept him as their lord and savior  and practicing what the Lord Jesus preached.

What Jesus preached on Earth?

Before Christ told us what will be the sign of his coming His message were in three categories which are;

1) Kingdom of God

2) Holiness

3) His second coming

Kingdom of God (Matthew6:33)

Jesus Christ make us to understand that the kingdom of God is the most beautiful place ever that cannot be describe by human reasoning or knowledge. It’s a place that every living creature should desire to live. He told us some the things in His father kingdom that make it to be desirable than anything in this world.

Holiness (1Peter1:15)

Our lord Jesus second message is about holiness which is the righteousness in action. Holiness is the acts of Christ Jesus and anyone who wants to be in the kingdom of God must live a holy life. To live a holy life, Holy Spirit must dwell in you richly because what define holiness were the fruits of the Holy Spirit (Galatian5:22-25) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

His second coming (John16:16-33)

Jesus third preaching is about his second coming before he gave us the sign of his coming. He promise all his followers that he his going to prepare enough space for us in his father kingdom but he will come back suddenly to pick only those who have meet all the requirement to be in the kingdom of his father.(those who are still in faith) Kingdom of God requires the following

1) Genuinely born again (John3:3, Act 3:19-20)

2) Sanctified and holy life (1peter 1:15-21)

3) Obedient to God’s instruction (exodus 19:5)

4) Studying and practicing of word (James1:22-23, Luke8:21)

5) Put God first in every situation (Matthew6:33)

6) Be the preacher and doer of the gospel (Luke4:43)

7) Be heavenly minded (2Cor5:13)

Without the above criteria in your life, you will not be able to recognize hi m when he eventually come. Sign of Jesus arrival cannot be know and understand by anyone else except those who have meet the just mention requirement. The book of 1thessalonian 4:16 tell us the sign of his arrival

Sign of His Coming in book of gospel Matthew

Sign of his coming are the feeling and experience or events that will come to existence when Jesus second coming is in the corner or when it remain one or two step to appear in the world again in the sky. He told his disciples to watch out for the following sign as the sign of his coming.

The sign of his coming are fully spell out in the gospel book of Matthew 24:1-14

As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?"

4 And Jesus answered and said to them, "See to it that no one misleads you.

5 "For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will mislead many.

6 "You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars, see that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.

7 "For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.

8 "But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

9 "Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of my name.

10 "At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another.

11 "Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many.

12 "Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold.

13 "But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.

14 "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Today all the prophecy about the sign of his coming has being fulfill, the only sign of his coming that might not 100% manifest is the proclamation of gospel all over the world. The manifestation of the sign of his coming must have prepare a serious believer of Christ for his second coming 1thessalonian 4:16

Purpose of his coming according to the scripture 

1) To take his believers to his father kingdom where he has prepared for them (John14:2)

2) To bring an end to this wicked world (2Peter3:10-13)

3) To reward every living creature according to their work (Rev22:12)

4) To destroy the devil with those who are following him (Rev20:1-3)

5) To create new heaven and new earth (Isaiah 65:17)

Why his coming delay or tarry

1) Jesus coming is delay by him in other to have more soul that will rapture with him. Many Christian are ignorance of Satan device and underrate him, in as much the earth is still exist Christian should not underrate devil and fully beware of who he his (1peter5:8). The early Christian are not ignorance of Satan device (2cor 2:11). Billion of souls are falling into devil clown day by day because of this Jesus Christ didn’t want his suffering death to go in vain over the people in this world, so he keep on delaying his coming to watch over those who have being deceived by the devil maybe they will have a rethink to forsake the devil and sin to accept Him as their Lord and savior and obey his instructions (Luke15:10)    

2) The second reason why Jesus coming is delay maybe the inability of the Christian to preach the gospel to every single soul on earth to serve as a witness of Jesus coming because there place and people on earth who are yet to know who is Christ and the kingdom of God. In Matthew 24:14 Jesus told us that preaching the gospel to every individual all over the world will be the last sign of his coming. Every Christian that expecting the second coming of Jesus Christ should be ready to preach the gospel all the times, in and out of the season to enhance the return of our lord Jesus to bring ultimate end of this terrible situation in the world today. (Matthew28:18-20)
