17 BIBLICAL STEPS TO FINANCIAL FREEDOM
Proverb 22:7 when the money of the people of Egypt and Canaan was gone, all Egyptian came to Joseph and said, give us food. Why should we die before your eyes? Our money is used up GENESIS 47:15 “when money failed in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan all Egyptian came unto Joseph, and said give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? For the money faileth. It is a fact that economic of the world is shaking; even the developed nations like (USA and Europe) are also feeling the heat of recession. But the Bible made it clear to us, Bible students shall agree with me money has been failing in several times/days according to the bible. How then can we relate this to (I John 3) God want us to prosper even as our soul prosper. It is not a surprise that people that are crying to for help are almost helpless now.
What is recession?
A difficult time when there is less trade, business activity etc. in biblical term it’s called “When many failed, when money was gone.
1. The greedy of man when wealth of 2000 people is being held illegitimately with a man.

Prophecy of God to humble the proud etc. (Isaiah 60:2) It shall come to pass, for behold, the darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people, but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. Verse 3; and gentiles shall come upon thy light, Darkness of lack, poverty and Economic meltdown is global now. This is why believers are to put religion apart and be more serious more than ever for gentiles to come to our light and forever honor our God in such a time like this.
STEPS TO HAVE FINANCIAL FREEDOM/TRUE WEALTH
1. Be true Israel of God I cor5:17

You must have a revelation or working knowledge of the covenant of wealth (2 Corinthians 8:9) Can you imagine that what is going on in the world does not determine or change The harder the times are in the world, the more supplies He will release to those that are working in the knowledge of His word.

But when Noah gave offering and sacrifice (Genesis 8:22) He smells a sweet savor, He said that He shall no longer curse the earth Note: Only seeds sow in God’s order that attract supernatural blessings. Joel 2:23-24) you enter into the realm of abundance through sacrificial giving. John12:24 Abraham gave seed to God at mount moriah (Genesis 22:16-18) Job gave God good seed Job1:5 David gave sacrificial seed- I chronicle 29:2-3, all his might was invested in the house and kingdom of God. Solomon gave seed(I king 3:4-5) Solomon journey to wealth began on mount Gibeon, where He offered a thousand burnt offerings Rom 15:4” All were written for our learning. If we do likewise we can stop recession.

Diligence - (Proverb 22:29) Proverb 12:11, Eph 4:28 The Bible is crystal clear on the issue of personal input in order to taste the grapes of comfort and obedient I thesa4:11-12 and that ye study to be quiet and to do your own business and work with God - Adam was diligent Israel was diligent Gen26:12-14 Jacob was a diligent specialist farmer Gen 22:43 Jesus and Apostle John 9:4, Proverb 22:29 Ece 11:4, Proverb 20:4, Proverb 14:23 “In all labor there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury (Proverb 13:11) “Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished but he that gathered by labor shall increase” Do not join dubious business or steal from our nation’s wealth. It is dangerous and a big shame for you (Matt 20: 1-8) shows that though Jesus had enough to give but He asked them to go and labor. V8 He reward them until you are passionate about your work, profit will be a mirage. Even if you are called to ministry, the rule is still the same. Let us the brethrens labor with their hand, I Thessalonians 3:10 5. Living Faith.-Heb11:1&2, Deut 8:18

Be Covenant Practitioners - Ecc 7:11 some people in the bible that pass through recession (Money failure) without feeling its pinch of effect e.g. Abraham-Gen 12:10, Gen 13:1-2 in spite of the hardship in his time, Abraham was very rich. Isaac – Gen 26: 1-2, 12, 13, He heard the word of God and obeyed. Isaac did not become wealthy because of the wealth of Abraham but because of simple obedience of sowing. Jacob (Gen42:2) He did not go and borrow but Jacob had means, He has money to buy corn to feed his twelve children Joseph_ (Gen 41:56) Joseph became supplier of food to Egyptian and never in need. Our God has not changed, if the covenant people were escaped from sore farming of their days we do the same, if only we keep to the principles of covenant.
7. Render service to humanity - (Job22:21-29) Matt 6:33. Be consumed with God first before any other thing. Be ready to serve with your time, treasure and talent, be relevant to the kingdom.
8. The fear of the lord - Psalm 33:18-19, Psalm 37:19
9. Obedience to the word – I cor 10 :13, Ob 36:11 There are escape not to the financial holocaust coming upon the world. Super stars shall emerge in the kingdom through obedience e.g. Peter a professional fisherman (Luke 5:4) Acts 10:34 Note Disobedience Christian may suffer the same faming that unbeliever are going through because God values obedience. God’s commands are not to ridicule mankind but to make man rich and flourishing
10. Be spirit lead - Ps 32:8 11. Sit Down and think (Ecc10:1). Wealth is a product of man’s capacity to think. If all you have is money without an idea one can still broke. (Deut 8:18) Before we go further to see what man can do to checkmate money failure of our days? Let see
WHAT MONEY IS SAYING ABOUT HIMSELF/FINANCIAL FREEDOM
1. Money says-“everybody needs me, but no everybody gets me “If you know so much about me, you will surely track me down “I am neither good nor bad, depending on how you use me”
2. Money says “ if you are not careful about me I will destroy you” if you don’t control me, I will surely control you” The more you pursue me unjustly, the more I run away from you”
3. Money says” I am an expert in deceiving the hearts of men to follow me into destruction” lots of things repel me from people. If I’m not your friend, I will be surely be your enemy”
4. Money says “with me you enjoy, without me you endure”? I am like rain, get me and use me when I’m falling. “If you use me to help others, I will always return to you”
5. Money says “I am like spirit and spiritual. I take over men’s heart and they stoop low to get me” men sell their soul for me and I have no life to give them”
6. Money says” If I am used wisely I can help you here and thereafter” If you don’t handle me well, I will mishandled you”
7. Money says “if you don’t hold me loosely, I will take over your heart” If you don’t give me away, I will not multiply to you”
8. I love to abide with those who work smart, honest and sensible “I am a very loyal servant, but can also be a terrible master”
9. I am tired of people searching for me in the wrong place” I am found in a lowest place. I keep every company; yet don’t have eternity for sons of man”
10. Money says” I am tired of people who don’t know how to use me
11. Money says “when I stay too much with you I cause you problems “I am a tool, provided you use me correctly “I have no eternal value, I am not worth dying for, but men don’t know this”. These are the cry of money to humanity. Note: let us continue on way to overcome money failure or recession.
12. Live within your means: do not use your hard earning labor to buy liability but go for asset.
13. Plan your family up ring –Take good care o them.
14. Follow a good financial plan: 60/20/20 principles weeping will endure longer than a night when you have no savings
15. Wise Investment - investment mentality is crucial for financial freedom. It’s those that are investors that shall rule our generation
16. Practice the principle of giving- pay your tithe, give offerings, contribute meaningfully to the vision of your church, let your minister eat out of your sweat, give to the needy/widow don’t be at the receiving end only, be also at the giving end. Malachi 3:10,

Divine success cannot be measure in monetary terms. The poorest man on earth is he whose only wealth is money. God gives power to make wealth to his people God promises to make His people wealthy- not only money (Job 42:10,12, Ecclesiastic 5:19) Money is only an element of wealth. Therefore, what is
TRUE WEALTH?
Right relationship with God, Spiritual insight, Healthy home/family, Material possessions, a godly example/legacy, reaching out to others in love of God, Be a contributor and not a consumer to the world (Psalm 112:1-7). True riches and wealth is what God is looking for in His people. All round wealth is much more valuable to God than dirty, bloody and unclean riches. This is the kind of wealthy people that God want us to raise see (Luke 12:11-21, Proverb 8:18, Ephesians 3:8, HOs 11:26) the basis of our wealth starts from spiritual, emotional matrimony and financial freedom. Have multiple stream of income. Wise investment is the great key to financial freedom. Many work for money all their life. They are ignorant of how they can send money an errant you need to invest money into what can bring legitimate /clean money to you.

Rich people are those even when they are sleeping, their money is waiting for them its right time to learn how to make, manage and multiply money. “The sea and the ocean never run dry because it receives water from various rivers and stream” There is no single rich and wealthy individual on earth today that has only one source. of income. (Earn salary) E B (Business) (Self Employed) S I (Investment) Interpretation “E” Quadrant –Job with a good pay salary “S” Quadrant – a self employed person “B” Quadrant- He is a business owner, and might have a system to employ people to run the business. “I” Quadrant – some operate “I” or investor. His cash flow based on internal rate of return. He says the main reason so many people struggle financially is not because they lack a good education or are not hard working, it is because they are afraid of losing. If the fears of losing stop them, they are already lost” The poor and middle class often buy luxuries item such as big houses; cars etc. for them to look big, but rich people do buy luxuries last. If its certain we want to be wealthy we need to move from mono income to multiple stream of income (M.S.I) stop buying luxuries let your passive income do that for you, not your hard labor income ,. Let the money work for you in 24 hours. Investor “I” is the best quadrant words. 18. Integrity - Proverb 11:3, Ps 25:21, Job 22:5, Proverb 13:11, Integrity- is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. It s what holds every other factors together. Both (Christian and Secular) the truth is that integrity is lacking at the alarming rate today in 21st century. Ephesians 4:16, Hebrews 10:22. We are not called to look good but to be good it is the level of integrity you put on your life that determine your quick lifting in the programmed of God no integrity no dignity. Alarming research in every part of the world, if you take 100 people at age 20 and you follow them for 40years. You will discover that: 1% attempt so rich and wealth, 4% became financial free and wealth 5% still working and struggling and have debt to settle. 36 die along the way, 54 become poor and broke /penniless. This happens at age of 60, either recession or not. Why? Because of lack of financial intelligent and poor or no knowledge of retirement planning and choices they have made, he who fail to plan, plan to fail.
Conclusion, God’s commands are not to ridicule many but to make man rich and triumph even in time of recession. Try to always be obedient and put all the point into action. Surely each family shall have financial freedom. God Bless you.
